Egg Timer.

A lot of athletes eat eggs (in moderation, of course). I decided that a hard boiled egg on my salads would be great, but I typically don't make them quite right. I have no idea why given the directions are pretty simple.

1. Put eggs in water and boil
2. Remove from heat and cover for 5 min
3. Drain water
4. Add cool water and ice to eggs
5. Wait for 3 minutes
6. Peel under cold water

Really, it should be that easy!!

Anyway, I decided to increase my odds of having a perfectly Boiled batch of eggs by using a handy dandy egg timer I bought at William and Sonoma in Dallas. It's maiden voyage was a success!!

  1. I let the eggs come to a boil, then turn the heat off and allow it to sit on that burner for 12-15 minutes. Peeling is a cinch! Only letting it sit for 5 minutes wont get the eggs boiled all the way through.

Chad and I started eating scrambled eggs on our salads. It's really a lot easier, actually.
